Abstract

Pregnant clients may be fearful about the forthcoming 'life with baby'. We therapists can help them form a deep bonding with the baby before birth already by teaching them about the neurobiological changes occurring during pregnancy, a greater awareness of themselves, an improved perception and sensibility towards their body and the baby's body language. The workshop was in three parts: lecture, awareness exercise, and discussion.
