Abstract

In the worksop setting, participants explored the complex interdependence between motor development and psychological development. The twoleaders, each of whom has developed a life-time of work to this study, start from different but complementary perspectives. Bonnie and Lisbeth were bringing these perspectives together for the first time. The led participants through experiential exercises, demonstration sessions, and discussions of fundamental principles regarding motor development, and perceptual, behavioral, and psychological functioning throughout the lifespan. This was an exciting and historical workshop, with Susan Aposyan acting as moderator and discussant as well.
