As Bodynamic Analysts, we first investigate whether the origin of a client's depression arises from adult behaviour that is inappropriate for his/her age or life situation. Alternatively, adult expression may result from difficulties encountered from birth to 4 years of age, a period that spans the Bodynamic Need, Autonomy, and Will character structures. In this session, she explored the goals, hopes, and spiritual perspectives of these structures, and showed how the body can be used to help build emotional resources and cognitive abilities.
